New Horizons in the EA World:

What 2021 taught us about our Value in the Workplace

Speaker

Will Alexander, MA, LPC-S, LCDC, CSAT, CEAP, SAP

Session Educational Summary:

The unprecedented issues of 2020 highlighted many changes in the workplace as well as our personal lives. Many of these changes continue to develop as a work in progress. We found that “remote work” may indeed work. But at what cost? Perhaps the need to be connected has never been more embraced. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of positivity and patience. Most of all, we have realized that good mental health should be a priority in our work/life balance. Of course, this greatly influences workplace productivity. How does all this translate into our value in the new workplace as we move forward?

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will learn about the overall trends in EA practices from around the World in EA practices.
2. Participants will learn how to proactively apply and use the Lessons from EA research/applied practice     during the 2020-2021 timeframe.
3. Participants will learn how to partner and coordinate with EA programs/professionals to best serve the   needs of their clients.
