Meet the Speaker
Dr. Mona Robbins completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Howard University. She earned her doctorate in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Robbins is an Assistant Professor and Licensed Psychologist at the UT Southwestern Medical Center where she provides psychological services to adult patients with cancer. Her interventions focus on psychosocial, biological, and cultural dynamics that promote and hinder mental health wellness. She is a founder and president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Black Psychologists and has served on the Executive Committee of the Dallas Psychological Association.
