About the Speaker
Ann Hawkins is Founder of WellCare Dimensions Inc. Ann began her long career as a physical education major in college which led to teaching and coaching gymnastics at the collegiate level for many years, eventfully venturing into the sports health and fitness equipment arena.
Her passion was always in preventive medicine and the positive financial impact of staying healthy had on companies and the government. Consequently, Ann’s doctoral research was related to the employer financial savings of preventive medicine, fitness, and wellness as well as which programs really worked. At that time, no one had ever looked at the financial impact of good health, fitness and well-being on corporate financials.
This experience inspired the formation of the consulting firm, WellCare Dimensions Inc. and the development of The 24hour Virtual Clinic™ which pulls together the best products, services and tools in healthcare to serve the client in the most efficient and cost effective way.
